Well what a awful end to the season, having to cancel the last show due to the horrendous weather. Lets hope we have better weather next year.
Next year we hope to run the Dressage & Clear round Evenings again on the Thursday before the show, possible starting in April (depends on the weather & the light) but definitley in May, June & July.
On Saturday 26th November there is Riding Club Winter Dressage Qualifier at Bold Heath. This is open to Juniors & Seniors members of Laffak Riding Club either as a team of 4 or as a individual. If anyone would like to take part in this or to come along and help by stewarding, give me a ring and I will tell you more about it.
You will find on the show results table the winners of all the classes. The trophies will be given out at the Presentation Dance, which will be held on Saturday 19th November at the North End Recreation Club, Bushy Lane, Rainford Junction, WA11 7LN.
The Presentation Will start at 8.00p.m. If you can't attend the dance please make sure a representative picks up your trophy , as they will not be kept for you.
Tickets are £5.00 each, this will include a disco & Hot Pot made by Karl's Catering, you can get tickets by filling the form at the bottom of this page. Or by ringing Linda Armstrong (Liverpool) 0151 486 5128 or Mo Chamberlain(Rainford) 01744882255.
It would be really helpful if you could let me how many tickets you require before the evening so I can let Karl know how much food we need. If you have any queries regarding the points or if I have spelt a name wrong, please ring me as soon as possible and I will try to sort them out.
Will all 2010 Points Trophy winners [lease make sure they have them engraved as soon as possible, as I will be contacting them soon to arrange their return.
Directions to the Club
From the East Lancs Road (A580). Turn onto the Rainford By Pass (A570) towards Southport/Ormskirk. keep on this road over the first roundabout, and then at the next roundabout take the 3rd exit onto bushy Lane. ** There is a right hand bend followed by a sharp left hand bend, at this bend you need to turn right into a narrow road alongside a row of terraced cottages, you almost turn back on your self; follow this road a little way and you will come to the club.From the M58.
Come off at Junction3. turn left if you are coming from Wigan direction or right from Liverpool direction onto the A570 Rainford By Pass. Keep on until you come to the roundabout, take the 1st left into Bushy Lane then follow the above instructions. **
